Members are added to our email list for upcoming forays and events, as well as exclusive improptu forays when conditions are just right. Members also get $5 off of North American Mycological Society annual dues (https://namyco.org/join/). Per our bylaws, membership is active through Jan 1 - Dec 31. Dues can be paid in advance for the following year, starting on October 1st. 

If you cannot subscribe online, you may also mail a check to our treasurer. Please include your email address with your check, or email us at info@iowamushroom.org after mailing.

Membership fees pay for our website and software subscriptions, space rental fees, event material costs, fungi sequencing costs, and donations to other nonprofits (i.e. iNaturalist.org). We can’t do this without you!
